Hello! I had a fun day today – it was kind of unexpected, but those are the best kind, right?

This morning I went for a run in my good ol’ Fueled by Watermelon shirt. I ‘save’ this shirt because I originally wore it for the Marine Corps Marathon but never wear it –  I figure I should live it up since I love h2o melon year ‘round!

My mom had the day off for Veteran’s day and came over to go shopping. First, we got Pho for lunch. Fo sho.

Then, we hit up the stores for major shoe shopping. My mom needed new running shoes and she tried on a bunch. She decided on a pair of Mizunos – my favorite! I’m happy since I’m a  Mizunos girl all the way and I’m excited to hear how she liked them  (*Spoiler – I’m giving away Mizuno Running shoes for POTM next week!!)

I needed shoes too… well, I use the word ‘needed’ loosely. But, even the girl checking me out said these were cute so I think it was a good choice.

This guys slept through all of it…

Overall it was a fun day with my lil mamacita.
